Chlora

Were you looking for information about Cholera? Chlora is a common misspelling of cholera.

Cholera is a diarrheal illness that is caused by a bacterial infection. It is usually spread by eating food or drinking water that is contaminated with the Vibrio cholerae bacterium. The infection is often mild or without symptoms, but can cause a rapid decrease in body fluids (which can lead to dehydration and shock). Treatment for cholera often involves fluid replacement and antibiotics. Without proper treatment, death can occur within hours.
